Nightshift over,

Two ‘bacon butties’ and a 5 litre keg of Desperados.

It’s not great beer, sort of a watered down beer with a tequila flavour-ish.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

But it’s a keg with tequila on it and it’s been a shitty few days and I’m off this weekend.

Just under nine pints, so less than a ‘night out on the piss’, about as much if not slightly more than ‘a few’ with mates.

So like, out, rather than, o ut-out.

I do like the tequila version more than the regular desperados. Plus, with warm weather, they can be alright, IMO.

Desperados is drinkable, but that’s about it. Not the best beer of the Heineken group.

Didn’t know Remia sauces are also sold in the  UK, thought they were just a Dutch thing

Ye’, the non tequila versi on is only slightly better than drinking someth ing American like Budweiser or Coors Lite.

Anything Heineken is onl y ‘slightly’ drinkable.

Remia isn’t. I just got ‘ hunger pangs’ for Frites saus. I have some fond memories of my time in Holland.

If I had some Grolsch H erfstb ok. I swear I’d be swearing al legiance to the House of Orange.

I got some from Amazon and ye’, so good.

Oh my god yes.

Only thing is, like revisiting an ex-girlfriend.

Revisiting something can be like meeting an ex again. You have great and fond memories at the time, but revisiting leads to disappointment and hostilities.

I’d like a Herfstbok, but if you put one in front of me, I would have a crisis of whether I should drink it. Result one, drink it and restore a tactile point of all those memories, result two, it doesn’t taste as great as it did (or thought it did ) and all the fondness of those memories has paled into insignificance.
